Lanni got to go biking with the big boys last night. He woke in the middle of the night with a tick in his ear…..yuck! And after we solved the causality, he was off to a million words of glory telling me about the wiggly bridges and laps and races….and 1/2 asleep. There so sweet, these passionate little ppl. We also ended up with a tick in our bed, and the first time in my life lanni, voluntarily left our bed to his! How are you all managing the great outdoors with these things everywhere?
Buying tools
Only Sheldon would pick up a tool for my dad and open it himself to make sure it was what he wanted……here delbert here’s your new tool, don’t mind the box open and the slightly used look.
Once in 100 years
My mom has this monster aloe Vera plant. A lady once told me they only bloom once every 100 years. And look my mothers plant is! How special. Providing that is true, short of googling it.

easter in the wilderness

had the privilage to spend some time with my aunt & uncle up on the Torch River this easter. my father warned us you will likely get wet. we certainly got muddy. a whole lot of stuck. a beautiful hand crafted cabin, creating things, book reading and warm company. was a lovely time to be had. next time it will be actual voyaging down the river and not just beaver hunting:)
ps. was a first in the dog sleds, what a serene experience. highly recommend trying it if you ever have the oppurtunity!! thx northern famille.
